As we approach the TQ99 deadline for uploading of entries, inevitably there will be
questions posed by participants as they try to finalize their entry. Some of these
questions might be addressed directly to you as the TQ NP. If you cannot answer the
question, please do the following for the quickest and most accurate reply.
1. Tell the student or coach to access our FAQ page on our web site at http://www.thinkquest.org/tq/faq.html
to see if the question has already been answered. If yes, that is that.
2. If the question has not been raised or already answered, have the student or
coach send an e-mail ONLY to tq-help@advanced.org.
This is the best way to get an accurate and quick reply, usually in 3 to 5 working days.
3. ONLY WHEN THE HELP-DESK ANSWER IS NOT ACCEPTABLE SHOULD I OR A TQ
STAFF PERSON BE CONTACTED BY E-MAIL. (By sending the question to me or another staff
person before accessing FAQ or Help Desk, the student or coach should expect unnecessary
and frustrating delays.)
Please know that all of us are committed to serve the teams as fully as
possible. It would help them solve problems they might face by having them go first to the
FAQ page and then to our Help-Desk rather than sending to you or to us the request for
help that can be answered quickly by our Help Desk Staff.
